A sample you can approve

Prepare drawing revisions, material identification, dimensional checks, appearance references and functional acceptance for injection mold trials.

Sampling review flow: agree criteria, identify trial samples, review dimensions appearance and function, then record the release decision

Write acceptance before the trial

Agree what will be checked, who reviews it and which drawing revision applies. Identify critical dimensions, appearance zones and the conditions needed for functional testing.

Identify the material and setup

Record the tool revision, resin grade, color and relevant sampling conditions. This gives a practical basis for comparing samples and investigating a difference.

Measure against agreed datums

A dimension is meaningful only with its measurement method and references. Where conditioning or time after molding matters, include those conditions in the agreed inspection plan.

Review appearance and function separately

A component can pass a visual review while failing an assembly requirement, or the reverse. Use the agreed appearance reference and evaluate fit, retention, sealing or other required functions independently.

Close corrections with evidence

Connect each requested change to the affected feature, record the revision and review the new result. Define the documentation and release decision for the project; do not assume that a trial label or a sample count implies approval.
